Be part of PLAY ON, our one-night-only play reading events.
Performed in Rotorua and featuring local actors, PLAY ON gives the audience the chance to hear a play read aloud in a relaxed, intimate environment. Nothing’s rehearsed so anything goes.

Check out our events page or follow us on Facebook for upcoming PLAY ON events.

So, what is a play reading?
A play reading, sometimes known as reader’s theatre, is a style of theatre in which the actors do not memorize their lines. Actors use only vocal expression to help the audience understand the story rather than visual storytelling such as sets, costumes, intricate blocking, and movement.
